The Flour Mill Residential Development, Ramsgate
Description
With a value of £400k, this groundworks project was awarded to WWM Civils by the client - Harriss Property - in recognition for the high-quality workmanship and effort demonstrated on a previous project (the Promenade units in Margate).
The Flour Mill is a brand new development of 72 new homes, comprising of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2 and 3 bedroom houses, located in Ramsgate, Kent. The new build design complements the existing architecture and character of the mill that was constructed in 1865.
Within The Flour Mill development, WWM Civils installed deep drainage walkaways and built the new residential roadways and pavements using sympathetic block paving to be in keeping with the traditional architecture of the site.
Situated in an urban, built up area of Ramsgate - careful consideration was given to minimise the impact of The Flour Mill works to local residents at all times.
