Pioneer Academy, Bromley
Description
Owing to an increase in demand for primary school places across the London Borough of Bromley, the Pioneer Academy was expanded from a 2FE to a 3FE Primary School to help accommodate some of this need.
With works commencing on site in November last year, WWM Civils were appointed to undertake the groundworks for this project, including site clearance, foundation excavation, concrete to foundations, associated drainage, floor slab construction, first floor slab construction and external paving for this two storey School addition.
The first floor partially provides an open air MUGA Facility for school recreation and all works progressed on a very tight site footprint within the current school facility.
All deliveries and construction works were programmed to be carried out with consideration for the school’s day to day activities.
