Description

WWM Civils was awarded this groundworks contract by WW Martin Ltd for a value of £185k. The client – Floplast Building Products Ltd – requested the construction of a two storey extension to provide additional office space, together with a single storey steel framed extension to the warehouse.

WWM Civils installed pile caps and reinforced ground beams for the office and factory facilities, adding power floated floors. The external works undertaken also included block paving and kerbs for new staff parking.

This project was carried out within a live factory setting with HGVs and forklifts in constant operation. Our day to day details of works were relayed to the client to ensure that no production time was lost.
