Description

We were successfully appointed by WW Martin to undertake the groundworks for an education project in Medway, Kent which will involve the construction of a new 1 Form Entry (FE) Primary School, delivered within the grounds of the Hundred of Hoo Academy, in Hoo St Werburgh.

Working closely with WW Martin, WWM Civils constructed a new access road from the Highway to enable access to the new school locted adjacent to the existing one.

Other works completed on site included a full site strip, foundation excavation, concrete to foundations, over-site preparation, over-site concrete and all drainage works. Extensive landscaping and other external works were also completed, including the excavation and profiling of an attenuation lagoon as part of this project.

During the delivery of the works on site, we paid careful consideration to a High-Pressure Gas main running through the site, developing detailed Method Statements with Risk Assessments for all elements of the work.
