WWM Civils were appointed to undertake the groundwork's package for a new sports hall within the grounds of the existing school.

With a value of £400k, our work involved carrying our drainage diversions to allow the building to be vibro piled ahead of the construction of reinforced foundations and floor slabs being poured to form the new structure.

Other works included significant drainage and resurfacing of external playground and parking areas.

With the works being undertaken within a live school environment, this project required extensive liaison with the College and local community. Detailed logistics plans and stringent health and safety processes were successfully used for this project to avoid disruption and to ensure the safety of the college staff, students and the surrounding community during the delivery stage.

Now complete, this modern facility provides excellent facilities for the students at Corelli College and the wider community.
