WWM Civils progress works on site in Canterbury

Works are now on site and underway after we successfully secured a large Civils works package in Canterbury.

Our works are part of a new multi-million project for Gomez 4 (G4), one of the country's largest produce companies, servicing both the leading supermarkets and non-multiple customers. To be delivered in a busy and live working environment, we will undertake:

• new drainage and car parking facilities for the state of the art warehouse.
• Removing 4000m3 of muck away to facilitate the new warehouse foundations
• circa 3000m3 of service trenches dug to divert the existing services running through the site to the surrounding buildings.

The works to the new warehouse and additional facilities at the distribution centre will be delivered on the site of Gomez's current headquarters, which is one of the busiest distribution and consolidation centres in the UK. To ensure that the works do not impact on the operation of the busy site, we have worked closely with the client team to develop extremely detailed site logistics plans to ensure the smooth operation of the existing facilities.
