The Beacon School Phase 2 & 3 Completion
As the groundwork and civil engineering contractor, we recently completed our package of works forming phases two and three at The Beacon School, delivered for Kent County Council, with all works finalised in August 2025.
Our role focused on providing the essential foundation, drainage and supporting civils infrastructure for the school’s new facilities. This included a reinforced raft slab, reinforced foundations, a mass-filled foundation for the new MUGA, and installation of a full drainage system incorporating a petrol interceptor and a client-supplied grease trap.
We also delivered groundworks to support new car parks, ensuring the school has the capacity and circulation space needed as part of its wider expansion. Together, these elements provide the structural and drainage infrastructure essential to the school’s continued development and long-term performance.
Our civils package formed part of a wider multi-million pound expansion delivered by Kent County Council at The Beacon School in Walmer, Kent. The scheme provides modern, high-quality facilities and increased SEND provision for children and young people across the Dover and Deal district.
